Minor upgrades have the same version number as the product you are using. For example, if you are a registered user of pdfFactory 3.x, any new 3.x release is considered minor. These types of upgrades are free.

To upgrade, just download the new trial version and install using your existing registration code.

Major upgrades have a different version number than the product you are using, for example 2.0 to 3.0. Major upgrades are not free unless you’ve purchased the maintenance agreement which covers free major upgrades for a one year period from date of purchase.
