<p>Minor upgrades have the same version number as the product you are using.  For example, if you are a registered user of pdfFactory 3.x, any new 3.x release is considered minor.  These types of upgrades are free.</p>
<p>To upgrade, just download the new trial version and install using your existing registration code.</p>
<p>Major upgrades have a different version number than the product you are using, for example 2.0 to 3.0.  Major upgrades are not free unless you&#8217;ve purchased the maintenance agreement which covers free major upgrades for a one year period from date of purchase.</p>
