The Avalanche Technical Support Centre (located in Melbourne, Australia) provides support to customers and resellers that have purchased software directly from Avalanche.

Prior to contact the Avalanche Technical Support Centre, please check the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s) and the Tutorials for the product you are requiring assistance with.

Step 2. Email Avalanche Support Centre

We encourage you to email your initial enquiry rather than call us. This automatically enters your support request into our Support Tracking Systems database and ensures that your enquiry is routed to the most appropriate person. It also provides you with a ticket number provides a reference number for your enquiry that can be tracked to ensure that you receive a timely response.

Note: We no longer provide support for old versions of pdfFactory (version 2.x) & Fineprint (version 5.x). Please upgrade to the latest version of your product before requesting support.

We do try to respond quickly, but for more complex queries may have to refer your question on to one of the developers which takes a little longer. We will endeavour to keep you fully informed should there be a delay.

One of the most common task people use pdfFactory for is to convert Word to PDF. With pdfFactory this can be accomplished quickly and easily in a few shot steps. pdfFactory can create PDF document from word quickly and easily. Here’s how it’s done:

  1. Download pdfFactory or pdfFactory Pro.
  2. Open your Word document and go to print your document how you would normally print your document except this time, select pdfFactory or pdfFactory Pro from the printer list.

  3. Click on the Properties button and make sure your print settings are correct.  Once you’re happy with your settings, click OK.

  4. Click OK again and you will now see a preview of your pdfFactory document.

  5. Now you can save your document to PDF or a choose from a number other options depending which version of pdfFactory you own.
